Then there were.....

Things are about to get a little calmer here after the excitement of baby puppies. This weekend several are leaving for new homes. Delta which uses air conditioned vans to transfer animals from plane to plane is one of the few airlines that flies animals in the summer so Zhen is leaving for Washington, and Zia is leaving for New Mexico on Friday. Then this weekend Zemtoo and Zao are headed for their new home in Ohio, and Zarek's owner is meeting me at a rare breed show in Kentucky and picking him up and heading back to Maryland with him. At the end of the month Ruslan and Mina are headed to Missouri. One of them will be a Kansas City boy and the other one headed to a cute little town called Tipton that a very good friend of mine lives in. She has had a rough year losing a couple of her old Borzoi and a couple of younger ones so I'm hoping Mina will spice up her life and give her some happy time instead of the sad times she has been having. It's hard to be depressed around a puppy I think. Yesterday was new toy time and they had a wild time of it running all over chasing each other with their new fuzzy squeaky toys. It's kind of funny the boy I'm keeping Zuni is actually leaving for a bit as a friend in NC has a pup from a nice litter up North and no one for it to grow up with so he is going to be a temporary Tarheel puppy, or a loaner so they'll both have someone to play with and exercise.
